Care Packages
Residential Dementia Care
At The Oaks, every resident receives expert, compassionate care from professionals with training and experience in caring for those with dementia. By getting to know each resident personally, our team can offer gentle, consistent, and comforting care, day-in and day-out.
By helping with day-to-day chores, medical monitoring, and more, The Oaks team caters to every resident’s unique physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. Fun and engaging social activities, along with memory care programs and visits from professionals, like hairdressers and chiropodists, complete a care package focused on overall wellness.
Palliative Dementia Care
As dementia advances into its final stages, specialist care that maintains a resident’s dignity while keeping them comfortable and content becomes even more important. The care professionals at The Oaks can offer precisely that, while also supporting family members who can once again become loved ones and not carers themselves.
The team at The Oaks will assist with managing symptoms and easing pain and distress, while also listening and responding to each resident’s spiritual and emotional needs.

Testimonials
I have been most impressed with the way this home is managed. The teamwork of all the staff, irrespective of their individual notes is excellent, reflecting the quality and attention to detail and consistency shown by the outstanding manager. Collectively they do all pull together to prioritise the care and well being of the residents. The atmosphere is always positive, supportive and kind. The staff always go the extra mile to help and engage with the residents.
Friend of Resident
Lovely, friendly staff. Always go out of the way to make mum comfortable & meet her needs. Nice & clean. Love the fact that all meals are home cooked, wonderful menu variety. Afternoon entertainment run by Dawn is excellent. Xmas & New Year entertainment was great fun. No corkscrew lol!
Daughter of Resident
I have seen my friend grow in confidence and become totally immersed in what is a family community. This is down to the amazing staff who are beyond caring. There seems to be so much thought given to a full programme of activities. The kitchen staff provide such a varied menu and as in all other areas, nothing seems too much trouble. I am in total admiration of all the staff - such a tough job.
Friend of Resident
The Oaks residential home staff work really hard in keeping the home lovely and look after the residents so well. They can't do enough for the residents and families. Thank you for looking after our mum and supporting us in the transition of mum going into residential care, which is a very sad and difficult time. I knew the moment I walked into The Oaks, it was perfect.

As the owner of Ferndale and The Oaks, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where outstanding care is delivered with a truly personal touch. With a decade of experience in the care sector, my vision is rooted in a “home-from-home” philosophy - moving away from large, clinical institutions in favour of warm, comfortable settings where residents feel an immediate sense of belonging. I take immense pride in the specialist support my teams provide, particularly for those living with dementia.
Having seen first-hand the challenges many local families face when struggling at home, I am dedicated to ensuring my care homes offer the professional expertise and compassionate relief they need. For me, the greatest reward is seeing the positive impact my dedicated staff make on the lives of Emsworth families every single day.
